Estimator ( office based) - Fast Track Fit Out - Leisure & Hospitality Projects

Salary: £40-£50k, plus 5k car allowance, annual bonus

Are you an Estimator, from a main contracting background, who has experience in pricing fast-track restaurant projects?

If so, we are recruiting for the role on behalf of a Huddersfield based contractor , with a strong client base , and who is in the fortunate position to have a strong order book of projects for 2025.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assessing the type of tender, client and closing date to determine prioritisation of all tenders.
• Considering all aspects of a tender
• Preparing cost budgets and cost estimates for new contracts
• Carrying out take-offs and producing Bills of Quantities to prepare tenders for submission
• Site visits to undertake surveys, attend meetings with projects teams as necessary
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options
• Collating sub-contractor packages
• Handling sub-contractor enquiries
• Reviewing and understanding the tendering requirements and information
• Completing presentation documentation
• Understanding and finalising the preliminaries during tender.
• Finalising tender submissions with the lead team members.
• Attending mid and post tender interviews and site visits
• Managing post tender queries

Experience Required:

• Proven track record of successfully estimating restaurant fit out projects
• Competent in using Excel spreadsheets
• Excellent communication skills
• Prepared to work office based, except for when on site visits

Office hours are 8.30am-5pm , Monday to Friday, with 22 days paid holiday.
