Weaver Demolition are a 50+ year established business carrying out demolition, asbestos removal, and ground remediation works across the southern half of the UK. Based from our office in Farrington Gurney (South of Bristol), Weaver Demolition are recruting for a Demolition Estimator / Contracts Manager role to join our family business.

The ideal candidate will have experience within the sector or may be from a trades / construction background and are looking to move into an Estimating / Contracts Management position. Although a certain level of experience is required, training/mentoring will be provided to the right candidate.

The candidate will sit alongside our current esimating team and managment.

About the role;

• Receiving and logging enquiries
• Speaking with clients via phone and email on a daily basis.
• Providing estimates and quotes
• Visiting sites for pricing and liaison and co-ordination of won projects
• Follow up previous quotes and winning new business.
• Liaison with Site teams and Management
• Help customers with any queries
• Site visits with client during project and final site sign off
• Adherence to Health and Safety rules and regulations.
• Ensure information has been checked in accordance with company procedure.

Person Specification:

• Knowledge of relevant demolition/health and safety policies and procedures (desired), or a transferable trades background with a desire to work within the demolition sector.
• Be highly personable and able to develop strong relationships with both clients and site teams.
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Previous experience in estimating (desired).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Be approachable and professional, with a proactive, flexible and collaborative approach to work
• Must possess excellent organisational skills, meet deadlines and be able to plan and prioritise workloads.
• Must be able to read drawings and understand construction details in order to carry out take-off's for pricing
• Good communication and IT skills. Working knowledge with Microsoft Office.
