Electrical Estimator required for our client, a leading Electric Vehicle installation company. The Electrical Estimator will be preparing cost estimates, and assisting in securing a variety of projects. These projects will range from LV EV Electrical infrastructure works, all the way to full turnkey works.
The electrical estimator will be preparing cost calculations, bids and engaging with clients to ensure a successful performance of the project.
Remuneration:
- 45,000 - 50,000
- 28 Days Holiday including bank holidays
- Annual company Performance Bonus
- Total of 8% pension
- BUPA healthcare after probation
Responsibilities:
- Up to date market knowledge of costs
- Lead tendering process for new projects ranging from 400V to 33KV
- Reviewing customer project specifications, drawings
- Assessing the risk levels and challenges associated with a project
- Preparing and submitting quotations
- Carrying out scoping visits and conducting client meetings.
- Assisting with bids for new contracts
- Monitoring the costs at the different stages of a project
- Collaborating with other departments
Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering Qualification is essential.
- 18th Edition, EV Knowledge / Battery Storage background or experience is desirable.
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet or estimating software.
- The ability to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates.
- Understand the residential construction process
