Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a renewable energy provider with a commitment to professional development and sustainability to recruit an Estimator for its St Helens site.
The strategically important Estimator role comes with a salary of up to 33,000, pension, flexible working and a bonus scheme.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Development Manager you will:
Working in tandem with the Connections Lead to determine appropriate provisions for both private and grid-connected projects.
Monitoring costs throughout various project stages to ensure alignment with initial estimates.
Compiling and submitting quotations, encompassing detailed cost breakdowns for proposed work.
Inclusive of initial customer-side technical data, routes, risks, and other relevant factors.
Evaluating the risk levels linked to projects, with a focus on cost-related aspects.
Striving to enhance project viability while maintaining the target Internal Rate of Return (IRR).
Establishing and nurturing relationships with contractors and vendors.
Soliciting quotes from suppliers and contractors within specified timelines.
Investigating the costs associated with materials such as cabling, RMU, step-up/down transformers, civils packages, transport, labour, and equipment.
Professional qualifications:

Educated to a degree level.
