Estimator
We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Estimator to join a reputable main contractor based in Southampton. The business operates out of several regional offices across the UK and has a strong presence on the South Coast undertaking new build and refurbishment projects across a variety of sectors including commercial, education, healthcare and social housing valuing typically up to 15mil.
With lots of inbound opportunity, they are now looking to expand the pre-construction team with an additional Estimator.
About the role of Estimator:
As Estimator, you will be working within the pre-construction team pricing a diverse range of projects across the south coast. You will be reporting into the Pre-construction Manager.
Key Responsibilities as Estimator:
- Review tender documents and ascertain suitability for the project
- Work from first principles
- Manage the whole tender process
- Work collaboratively with the bid team to ensure tenders are presentable
Key requirements for this Estimator position:
- MUST have experience working as Estimator within a main contractor
- Proven track record of successfully securing tenders valuing up to 10mil.
- Experience with single and two stage tenders
- Live within a commutable distance to Southampton and be happy to commute to office / site on a regular basis
- Full right to work in the UK
