Ivy Resource Group are recruiting for a talented and detail-driven Estimator to join the commercial team of a well-established and respected housing provider. This is a permanent opportunity based in Tewkesbury, with hybrid working available.

The Role
As Estimator, you'll be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for a range of housing and refurbishment projects. You will work closely with design, procurement, and delivery teams to ensure all estimates align with project requirements and financial targets.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates from early-stage feasibility through to final tender submission
Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive costings
Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to gather accurate pricing information
Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations
Assist in value engineering and risk assessments
Support bid submissions and attend client meetings where required
About You
Proven experience as an Estimator in construction or housing
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team
Knowledge of estimating software and Microsoft Office suite
Relevant qualifications in construction or quantity surveying are advantageous
