Candidates suited to this role will have worked within the construction / metalwork sector ideally. Duties will include:-

• Reviewing project plans, specs, drawings to determine requirements
• Carrying out steel takeoffs, measuring and qualifying material needed from engineers and architects technical drawings
• To conduct a thorough analysis of project costs - to include materials, labour, equipment etc
• To prepare detailed estimates / proposals and any opportunities for cost savings.

Candidates should possess strong communication skills as you will be liaising with sub-contractors, clients and team members as necessary.

Candidates need to have a strong understanding of construction materials and be able to manage costs throughout the estimation process

This role is fully on-site.
