Our client, one of the UK's premier commercial glass and glazing specialists, is seeking a skilled Estimator to join their growing team.
They pride themselves on quality, innovation, and delivering exceptional results for commercial and residential projects nationwide. As an Estimator, you'll play a key role in pricing, planning, and helping bring some of the industry's most exciting projects to life.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate estimates and costings for glazing and aluminium systems
Review project specifications, drawings, and tender documents
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotes and technical details
Collaborate with project managers, the sales team, and technical staff
Maintain up-to-date pricing databases and ensure competitive, profitable proposals
Provide value engineering options to clients where possible
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in an Estimator role within aluminium
Strong knowledge of curtain walling, glazing systems, and aluminium products
Excellent numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple tenders and tight deadlines
