Ridgeway & Co are working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor in their search for an experienced Estimator to join their pre-construction team in London. This permanent role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, high-value projects while developing your career within a leading contractor.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates for large-scale construction projects

Analyse drawings, specifications, and other tender documentation to produce competitive bids

Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations and assess value

Work closely with pre-construction and commercial teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in submissions

Contribute to risk analysis and value engineering opportunities

Present estimates and reports to senior management
Requirements:

Proven experience as an Estimator with a Tier 1 main contractor

Strong knowledge of cost planning and tendering processes

Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents

Excellent commercial and numerical skills with strong attention to detail

Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office

Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, or Construction Management
