With a growing pipeline of work, we are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our dynamic pre-construction team and contribute to our continued success.
Role Overview:
As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of construction projects. Working closely with the Pre-Construction Manager, Project Managers, and Quantity Surveyors, you will analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor quotes to develop robust tenders and proposals.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for construction projects.

Review architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.

Obtain and analyze quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.

Assist in the development of procurement strategies and project budgets.

Participate in value engineering and risk management processes.

Collaborate with internal teams and attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings.

Maintain accurate records of pricing, rates, and subcontractor performance.
Requirements:

Proven experience as an Estimator within a main contracting environment.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

Proficient in estimating software (e.g., ConQuest, Causeway, or similar).

Excellent analytical and numeracy skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
