Our client, a well-established and fast-growing contractor in the construction industry, is seeking an experienced and detail-driven Estimator to join their dynamic team. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors, our client is looking for someone who shares their passion for excellence and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects
Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and suppliers
Evaluate tender documents and submit proposals in line with deadlines
Identify risks and opportunities during the tender process
Maintain and update a cost database for benchmarking and analysis
About You:
Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry (minimum 3 years preferred)
Strong knowledge of estimating software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
