COMPANY DESCRIPTION, PROFILE AND SCOPE OF ROLE:

Our client is well a high profile established and successful manufacturing business.This role represents an excellent career opportunity for an experienced Estimator with demonstrable experience of estimating Architectural Glazing Systems (preferably fire rated).

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Estimating steel constructed fire rated glazing systems
• Viewing plans and specifications
• Measuring and quantifying take offs
• Tendering multiple projects simultaneously
• Liaising with clients/suppliers in the compiling of tender/Quote/Variations
• Site measuring
• Attending client meetings
• Preparation of Quotes and associated document for submission
• Timely and accurate costing of submissions
• Ensuring completed quotes comply with specification and design briefs
• Client relationship building
• Following up estimates, negotiating and securing orders
• Working closely with team members to ensure quotes and deadlines are achieved

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

• Demonstrable Estimating experience gained within Architectural Glazing Systems, preferably with knowledge of fire rated steel constructed systems.
• Strong administration skills with the ability to work proficiently on MS Excel and other related packages
• Astute, commercially minded, numerate, and well organised and able to work to deadlines
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to understand and interpret plans and diagrams
• Knowledge of Certifire, Sch Cal, or Loigkal would also be preferred

Details of Package:

30,000 to 35,000 PA (Depending on experience) + Competitive Benefits

Average of 37 Hours per week over two weeks (Hours of work: (Apply online only) Monday to Thursday (Requirement to work Friday every 2nd week (Apply online only
