Role Summary: As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the project lifecycle, providing accurate cost estimates for high-end fit-out projects in the hospitality sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse project specifications and drawings to determine project requirements.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and other project expenses.
- Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather relevant information.
- Evaluate quotes and proposals from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitiveness and quality.
- Provide support during the tendering process, including reviewing contracts and negotiating terms.
- Maintain records of estimates, budgets, and project costs for reference and analysis.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction or fit-out industry.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
- Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
