Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
• Analyse project specifications and blueprints to determine labour, material, and equipment requirements.
• Evaluate and source competitive pricing for materials and subcontractors.
• Prepare and present estimates to clients, ensuring clear and transparent communication.
• Continuously update and refine cost databases and estimate templates.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Estimator in the Metalwork, Metal Cutting, Fabrication, or Steelwork sectors
• Proficient in estimating software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• A strong commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering quality work.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is a plus.
