M&E Pre-construction Manager

M&E Pre-Construction Manager required to work for a high profile National client from the West Midlands. The role will be office based and you will be representing solely the building services element of the build pre-construction phases. Thus it is imperative that you come from either a Mechanical Estimator or Electrical Estimator background. With solid exposure to working on large-scale tenders.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-qualification proposals, scopes of work and interviews
- Take full control of M&E tenders
- Review design
- Vetting the M&E supply chain and control of sub-contractor pricing
- Value engineering.
You will require a clear understanding of technical issues and work closely with Design Managers and it is desirable that you have an understanding of BREEAM requirements as well as a complete understanding of British Standards
This is an exciting opportunity to lead from the front and work in a driven team to achieve results. Ideally you will have worked on projects major projects/tenders across the industrial and commercial sectors.
This role may suit a design and build mechanical estimator or electrical estimator. Or an already pre-construction building services manager who has worked for a main contractor and has pre-construction experience.
