Pyramid8 is delighted to be supporting a local building services group, that's in its third decade of trading. As an established firm and a leader in its industry, its portfolio boasts several high street retails brands throughout the U.K. Due to business growth, they are seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join the team in Wakefield.

As a Mechanical Estimator you will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Preparing estimates for mechanical projects up to £3 million.
• Reviewing drawings, carrying out take-offs and pulling together material, labouring and subcontractor costs to produce a tender.
• Negotiating with multiple suppliers and specialist subcontractors.
• Preparing submission documents.
• Working well under pressure to meet tender submission deadlines.
• Producing profit forecasts.

To be considered for the Mechanical Estimator role you must have:

• Be able to read and understand tender drawings and specifications.
• Sound knowledge of all mechanical systems including
• Excellent organisational skills and able to manage workload.

High numeracy levels and commercial awareness with a keen eye for detail.
