Due to continued growth our client, a respected family-owned construction company, known for delivering top-quality services from concept to completion is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator.

Are you a detail-oriented estimator with a passion for general construction? Our client is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their Norwich team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years in estimation, preferably in the UK construction sector.
• Valid UK driving license.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and cost management.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and solve problems effectively.
• Experience in commercial, residential, and private sectors.
• Familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform site inspections and gather project data.
• Take accurate measurements and assess project needs.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals.
• Liaise with suppliers and negotiate contracts.
• Attend project meetings for valuations and updates.
• Present proposals that align with specifications and budgets.

This role is based in Norwich, with a salary based on experience and excellent benefits.
