Job Description:

• Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates based on project specs and drawings.
• Analysing labour, materials, and overheads to build comprehensive budgets.
• Collaborating with engineers and project managers to gather key data.
• Reviewing subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure value and quality.
• Supporting cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Staying up to date with industry trends, materials, and techniques.
• Presenting estimates and insights to internal stakeholders.

Beneficial Skills / Experience

• Proven experience in electrical estimating or project management within construction or manufacturing.
• Strong grasp of cost control principles and budgeting.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with estimating software and digital tools.
• Clear and confident communication skills.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• A degree in construction management, engineering, or similar is a plus-but relevant experience is just as valuable.
