They currently complete packages ranging in value from £10m up to £100m on a mixture of residential and commercial projects throughout London and Home Counties.

Responsibilities:

• The conversion of tenders for large-scale concrete frame projects

• Preparation of tender submissions

• Measuring and take-offs from drawings

• Producing bills-of-quantities

• Cost Planning

• Pre and post Contract meetings with clients to sell not only the price but the reason they should pick your business over others too

• Build-up of tender price from first principles based on plans, programme, and scope of works

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Estimator/Senior Estimator within the Reinforced Concrete Frame and Groundwork sector

• Have a robust knowledge of pricing and current rates for the Reinforced Concrete Frame and Groundwork sector

• Experience in the conversion of tenders for projects up to £30m plus

• The ability to communicate effectively and work on your own initiative

• Decisive and reliable with excellent attention to detail

Salary / Remuneration:

£80,000 to £120,000 per annum, depending on experience, with the basic salary, our client offers car allowance, pension, bonuses, and similar on a PAYE basis. Please contact John Ashcroft for more information (phone number removed)
