Senior Mechanical Estimator

We are currently looking for a senior mechanical estimator to join our team and play a key role in the pre-construction phase of our projects. As a senior mechanical estimator, you will be responsible for:

Creating accurate and competitive cost estimates and tenders from mechanical services design drawings (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning). Working closely with the business development, design, and operations teams to ensure the best technical and commercial solutions are delivered to our clients. Reviewing and evaluating tender documents, specifications, drawings, and contracts. Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers. Assisting in the training and development of junior estimators. To be successful in this role, you will need:
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a mechanical estimator in the building services industry. A relevant qualification in mechanical engineering or equivalent. A strong knowledge of mechanical services systems, standards, codes, and regulations. A proficient user of computer estimation software, such as Trimble or Causeway. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach to work.
