Job Advert: Structural Steel Estimator

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

We are looking for a Structural Steel Estimator to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in relevant roles.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and architects to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Prepare estimates for structural steelwork, architectural steelwork, and cladding.
• Monitor and track project progress and ensure that the project is completed within the estimated time and budget.
• Maintain records of estimates and contracts.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in estimating roles.
• Experience with Structural steel preferable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary: The salary for this position is between £45,000 and £55,000 based on experience.

Working Arrangements:

• Hybrid working offered with 3 days in office and 2 from home.
