We are currently recruiting for an Estimator in Manchester on behalf of one of our clients - an established regional contractor who work on large scale new build and refurb schemes in education, healthcare and commercial sectors! (Perm)

Ideal Candidate:

• Main Contractor background
• Experience working on one and two stage tenders
• Conquest experience would be beneficial but not essential
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent organisation skills and used to working in the detail

Duties will include:

• Managing and preparing competitive tender submissions varying in form eg. one/two stage tenders or negotiated contracts.
• Sending tender enquiries out to supply chain.
• Analysing quotes from the supply chain.
• Carrying out precise quantification checks.
• Attending supply chain meetings on a regular basis ensuring an accurate scope of works and competitive costs have been provided.
• Being aware of modern build techniques and materials.
