What You ll Be Doing (The Role)
- Preparing accurate cost estimates for soft and hard landscaping projects across commercial, education, and public sectors
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents to assess scope and requirements
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Attending pre-tender and client meetings as required
- Working closely with project managers and directors to ensure seamless handover from tender to delivery
- Supporting bid submissions and helping to improve estimating processes
- Proven experience as an Estimator within landscaping, horticulture, or related sectors
- Strong knowledge of soft landscaping materials, planting schedules, and industry standards
- Confident reading technical drawings and preparing take-offs
- Excellent numerical, organisational, and communication skills
- Familiar with estimating software and MS Office (e.g., Excel, Outlook)
- Ideal for professionals with backgrounds such as Landscaping Estimator, Grounds Maintenance Estimator, or Landscape Surveyor
- Competitive salary up to £60,000 depending on experience
