Are you an experienced Estimator with a strong engineering or manufacturing background?
We're working with a well-established electro-mechanical manufacturer in Wigston.
As part of their ongoing growth, they're looking for a mechanically minded Estimator who can confidently manage project costings, liaise with suppliers and support the engineering team with commercially sound decisions.
Please note: this role is not suitable for graduates or entry-level candidates. We're looking for someone with hands-on estimating experience with the UK market - candidates must have full right to work without restrictions and we do NOT offer sponsorship.
The Role:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for complex projects, materials, labour and timelines.
- Assess supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Interpret technical drawings and work with engineers.
- Source component pricing and manage cost databases.
- Ensure all estimations match customer expectations and budgets.
We're Looking For:
- A proven background in estimating within engineering or industrial manufacturing
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to break down technical requirements
- Familiarity with production processes, supply chains and technical specifications.
- Clear communication skills and high attention to detail.
- The confidence to take ownership of estimating responsibilities from day one.
