Due to forward planning and our commitment to achieve continued growth and success, we are currently looking to recruit a permanent Engineering Estimator.
Reporting directly to the Internal Sales Manager the successful candidate would be required to have a minimum of five years experience within an Engineering estimating role with experience in medium to heavy Mechanical Engineering projects. Demonstrating a competency, through experience, in the production to prepare sales estimates/quotations and win customer orders.
The successful candidate will possess a clear understanding and experience in the following:
- Preparation of estimates and quotations.
- A good understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings.
- Sourcing of materials and components to compile accurate estimates.
Skills & attributes required for the role:
- Proven estimating experience within an engineering background.
- Experience within fabrication and machining disciplines.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Attention to accuracy and detail.
- Ability to work to deadline.
- Well organised and methodical.
- Enthusiastic, with a strong desire to succeed.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
This permanent position offers an excellent remuneration package including the following benefits:
- Salary will be dependent upon experience
- 37 hour working week
- 33 days holiday per year (25 days + 8 statutory)
