Company & Project: An established contractor operating in the Education, Commercial, Residential, and Healthcare sectors, are seeking to recruit an experienced an effective Estimator to complement their business based in East Anglia.
Our client has an excellent reputation and had secured a number of key projects in 2022. They are now looking to add a new Estimator to their team to focus on tenders for the future.
Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing the cost plans and pricing of single stage tenders and 2-stage tenders, in the main under JCT and NEC forms of contract and typically £1m - £10m in value.
You will produce BOQ's, take offs, full cost plans and target cost reporting with occasional pre con surveying duties including deed of appointment and procurement.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience working as an Estimator with Main Contractors.
- 4 years+ experience with main contractors in pure Estimating roles.
- Good track record of winning work.
- Sector experience must include New Build and/or Refurbishment projects.
- Previous Roles: Estimator OR Assistant Estimator OR Pre-Construction Surveyor OR Intermediate Estimator
Qualifications & Skills: Degree or HND/HNC in a Construction related subject.
