Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of residential and commercial projects. They will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure all quotes and proposals are delivered on time and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and submit detailed quotations and tender documents
Interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors to clarify project requirements
Obtain and evaluate pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
Maintain comprehensive records of all estimates and project changes
Candidate Profile:
Previous experience in an estimator role within the construction industry
Roofing sector experience is highly advantageous
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in estimation tools and Microsoft Office suite
