FTC Maternity Cover – Part Time or Full time available

MBP Door Solutions is the UK s leading independent stockist of doors from all major suppliers, and a market leading manufacturer of standard and bespoke fire doors, doorsets and glazed screens.

MBP Door Solution- North West, are now seeking an Estimator, on a FTC to cover Maternity Leave, who can work within the estimating team to create quotations for main contractors, sub-contractors and merchants for pre-hung doorsets.

Full product & role training will be given.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES:

• Interpret architectural drawings to create schedules from various architectural drawings
• Prove pricing schedules
• Check detail against fire/acoustic test evidence, structural opening sizes, etc.
• Use strong communication skills to liaise with customers in an efficient and professional manor
• Ensure all documents are received on time, chasing work internally within the group to ensure deadlines are met
• Create specifications for products
• Following up quotations through to order stage
• General administration and updating electronic and paper based files
• Adhoc admin tasks to support the office and team
• Comply with the Health and Safety responsibilities

.and any other duties required to support the achievement of the Company s objectives

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• A minimum of 3 GCSE s (or equivalent) at grade C or above, including Maths and English
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• Experience working with architectural drawings is desirable
• Excellent working knowledge with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft software
• Knowledge or background within the joinery industry is beneficial
