Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a Doncaster-based furniture manufacturer to recruit an Estimator to join their Office Team.

Reporting to the Customer Operations Manager, the Estimator will provide costing and quotation services and support customers and colleagues.

Duties and responsibilities of the Estimator include:

• Produce accurate costings in response to customers/product developments
• Have a clear understanding of manufacturing costs
• Liaise with internal colleagues regarding product set-up, routings and other technical aspects
• Interpret customer requirements to determine material and process costings for bespoke developments
• Maintain accurate data regarding assumptions used in cost modelling.
• Create cost modelling that represents the different product routes to market proportionately and accurately
• Demonstrate commercial acumen when preparing to cost work during the quotation process
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of system master data
• Communicate with internal and external contacts
• Adherence to the Company Health & Safety Policy is essential

We would be keen to speak with Estimators with the following skills:

• Proficient in the use of MS Office programs, particularly Excel and Access.
• Producing work to high standards of accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills

This Estimator role would suit someone who can develop strong working relationships with different people, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and capable of working to challenging deadlines.
