Our well established and market leading company are looking for an Estimator to join their team in modern offices based in Bredbury, Stockport. You will work alongside another Estimator, working closely to the companies Buyers both Teams are managed by the Procurement & Estimating Manager who will also give any "hands on" training required in all areas applicable. You will be a team player.Duties will include: Costing and pricing of products in line with customer requirementsMaximisation of margin against agreed levels for all lines Good understanding of margin mix across SKU profile to achieve optimal balance between sales revenue and margin protection Generation of a daily Estimating overview report Creation and development of processes and systems to calculate costs and margin Strong understanding of all operational processes and their impact on cost of manufacturing Excellent understanding of materials and packaging costs Achieving the optimal balance between product quality and customer requirementBroad knowledge of the key competitors, specifically pricing and quality of their products Minimising response time to customer requests and prioritising key customers where appropriate Ensure strong communication with Finance Team, Procurement Team, Sales Team, Warehouse, Production Team Qualifications: Strong mathematical and analytical skills Proficient in using cost estimating software and tools Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Effective communication and negotiation abilities Ability to work independently and meet deadlines In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate cost estimations for customer projects.
