JUNIOR COST ESTIMATOR - GRADUATE LEVEL OPPORTUNITY
This is an extremely rare opportunity for a recent Engineering, Design, Creative graduate to work for a business who turn some of the most complex ideas in to breath taking iconic structures. The business work on projects both internationally and UK based and are involved in some of the world's largest events from a design and creative stance. They are opening their doors for a bright, switched on graduate with a creative flair who can take an idea and visualise the final article by asking how do we build this and what steps do we need to take and putting that in to motion. - Permanent & full time
- £24,000
- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

A SNAPSHOT OF THE JUNIOR ESTIMATOR DAY
No project will ever be the same, this business work on the design and build of completely bespoke one offs so every day will be different!
- Preparing cost estimates by analysing exciting project proposals
- Being the initial contact point for clients and the key liaison point for Project Managers in regard to costings
- Gathering project briefs, specifications and drawings to utilise in the costings process
- Identify labour, materials and schedule requirements
- Generate full estimates, quotations and project schedules
- Advise on project budgets
- Liaise with clients regarding their projects and implementing any changes necessary, ensuring changes are communicated to all divisions of the business who are involved
- Attend project meetings and debrief meetings on the progress of projects

- Qualification or proven experience in a related subject such as Engineering, Design, Construction where you have been involved in a project from start to finish
- Excellent communication skills as you will be communicating with clients as well as all divisions of the business who are involved in the project
- Able to prioritise and work to strict deadlines
- Able to deal with numbers, a mathematical brain that can analyse quickly
