We are seeking to employ an experienced Estimator, based at our Otley office. You will join a dynamic sales team working in the Construction materials Industry.
Key responsibilities will include:
The ability to read and estimate from architectural drawings as well as Bills of Quantity documents
Knowledge of hard landscaping with the ability to learn quickly
You will be liaising with our sales team along with manufacturing suppliers in the UK, China, Vietnam, Portugal, and Spain.
Work as part of the team to secure business.
General day to day administration duties.
Key skill requirements for the successful candidate:
Attention to detail and accuracy are critical
Excellent IT skills, especially Microsoft Office, with a particular focus on Excel
CAD experience
Commercially minded and astute
Excellent interpersonal, communicative, listening, and negotiation skills
Excellent oral and written skills and the ability to negotiate with supply chain partners
Working hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Thursday, and 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Fridays.
