We are seeking an experienced and professional Senior Estimator, who will focus on our smaller projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This opportunity is to work for a forward-thinking business that offers sustainable quality solutions to a multitude of projects.

Responsibilities for successful Senior Estimator will include:

• Attending various locations all over London/South East to survey and gather all information in order to produce quotations
• Review tender documents and drawings for various tenders to be submitted to clients
• Responsible for preparing, managing, supervising and taking accountability for the estimates instructed on
• On some visits you will be required to meet with clients to conduct the survey
• On your quote instructions that go ahead you will be required to hold a pre-job start meeting with our project managers to ensure the smooth running of the quotations you are instructed on
• The Works you will be estimating, consist of all general building works so a candidate with good general building knowledge is ideal
• Work values consist of anything from £50k up to £5m (and beyond as we grow!)
• Build and maintain client relationships.

• Ability to use own initiative
• Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and cohesively as part of a team
• Professional work ethic and demeanour
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Responsive to meet tender submission deadlines
• Extensive experience as a surveyor/estimator in a similar role, for a notable length of time

Proven experience in working with clients is essential. You will be expected to provide an efficient, seamless and professional service.
