Technical Sales Engineer & Estimator

Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced Technical Sales Engineer & Estimator to join our well established client.

Job Duties:

• Creating accurate estimates and quotations within requested timescales.
• Assisting and supporting the sales team.
• Customer liaison.
• Occasional attendance to site and customer facilities for enquiry or project discussion when and if required.
• Occasional attendance to industry related exhibitions as part of the sales team.
• To partake in suitable training when and if required.
• CAD drawing / 3d Modelling experience.
• Such other comparable duties as may be required by the Sales Director.

Requirements:

• Previous experience of estimating in an engineering environment.
• Previous experience in a technical sales and customer service environment.
• The ability to read and understand engineering drawings and convert into estimates / quotations.
• Personable, presentable, and articulate.
• A sound understanding of sales principles.
• Computer proficient.
• Strong administration, organisation and communication skills.
• A degree or HNC/HND in an engineering discipline. (Not essential but an advantage).
• CAD drawing / 3d Modelling experience (Not essential but an advantage).

Salary: £30,000 Per Annum.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm.

This is a Full time, Permanent position.
