JHP Recruitment are seeking a methodical and detail-orientated Trainee Estimator to join our manufacturing and construction client based in Honiton, Devon, on a full-time, permanent basis.

Main accountabilities:

• Create and complete budgets and quotations for a range of construction clients
• Build good working relationships with subcontractors and specialists to ensure smooth collaboration throught the enquiry to completion process
• Proactively identify potential cost-saving solutions to maximise profitability
• Use the CRM system to input data and batch/phase quotations according to a set schedule
  

Desired skills & attributes:

• Previous experience in a similar role or within manufacturing/construction
• Understanding of architectural and other specialist drawings and plans
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex project requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation
  

Salary:

• 22,000- 26,000 per annum depending on experience
  

Working hours:

• 08:00-17:00 Mon-Fri
